Fake Amazon calls claiming there's a problem with your account, an unauthorised purchase, or that you're due a refund. Callers often ask for remote access to your computer or request payment via Amazon gift cards.
How to protect yourself
Amazon will never call you unsolicited about account or order problems. Log in to amazon.co.uk directly, never follow a link or phone number given by a caller.
