Cold calls claiming you are owed compensation for an accident, mis-sold PPI, or other financial product. These are often illegal unsolicited marketing calls from claims management companies.
How to protect yourself
Legitimate claims management companies cannot legally cold call you. Register with the Telephone Preference Service (TPS) at tpsonline.org.uk to opt out of marketing calls.
